HOME MEETS - Please be at pool 20 minutes before each warm up time listed above.

 

AWAY MEETS – Directions are on the team website.  At away meets, no swimmer should enter the pool until a Newton head coach arrives on deck.  Please be at the pool ready to warm up at the noted time.  Swimmers MUST be willing to travel to away meets to be a member of the Newton Bluefish Swim Team.

 

CHAMPIONSHIPS – Please mark these dates on your calendar.  Everyone swims!  To swim in the championship meet each swimmer must compete in 5 dual meets.  Please make every effort to meet the requirement.  The team is counting on you!  Everyone receives ribbons for events swum.  Cutoff times for the “A” meet are posted on the team website.  You must swim a time faster than the time posted.  If you make one event in the “A” Champs, you will swim all your events in the “A” Champs.

 

Remember, if school is canceled due to bad weather, a school holiday or public school vacation there is no practice.

 

IF A SWIMMER IS UNABLE TO ATTEND A SCHEDULED MEET, WILL BE ARRIVING LATE OR LEAVING EARLY, please let us know in advance by completing the Meet Absence Report
